This is a very overdue post but nonetheless it is still worth posting. Back in the summer of 2015, me and my sister went to the US, we couldn’t be more excited to finally see for ourselves the “Land of Stars and Stripes”. First stop, NEW YORK CITY!
Sunrise welcoming us to New York! Then, the plane landed and played ‘Hey There Delilah’
When we arrived in New York, a very cold April morning welcomed us and I was a bit shocked because I really thought that it would already be summer by then, but then, I guess I forgot about spring. Our Aunt and Uncle picked us up from the airport to go to New Jersey to drop off our things before we head on to explore. We passed through the city, where we got our first glimpse of the Big Apple. Even now, two years after that trip, I could still remember how giddy I was and what I felt during that car ride.
All the photos in this trip were shot using an iPhone 6! *winks*
We passed through the Holland Tunnel, it’s the highway tunnel under the Hudson River between Manhattan in New York City and Jersey City, New Jersey.Hello Jersey City!My very first yellow school bus! (The kid inside me was excited!)This reminds me of the houses from Pretty Little Liars!
After freshening up at my Aunt’s place, we went back to city to go to the United Nations for our conference. Here are the photos while we were on our way there: She’s our Aunt! Hi Tita! When we got out of the train station, we found ourselves right in the middle of the city! Finally got to the United Nations Headquarters! This was just the first day, I have so much more to show you. Keep posted! :*
