[dropcap letter=”N”]eed a fun excuse to make some plans and have a good time? Well, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and is the perfect excuse, no matter what night of the week it falls on. Whether it’s Galentine’s Day or Valentine’s Day, Cupid’s favorite holiday provides a fun reason to dress festive and that’s why my girlfriends and I decided to create a Romantic Vintage Lookbook for Valentine’s Day showing our own personal style and taste.
Whenever I hear the words ‘vintage’ and ‘valentines’, all I can think about is a classic chiffon and pearls pairing. Since I didn’t want to overdo it, I decided to wear a plain white tee to keep it all together. I chose this beautiful chiffon maxi skirt for its vertical pleats to help elongate my figure (and hides my food baby). Topped it off with a turban-style headband and little black bag to add a little spice to this sweet outfit. I matched my chiffon blush pink skirt with these Manolo Blahnik-inspired strappy pumps. The diamond details on the shoes also perfectly matched my diamond-studded earrings.
Whether I’m celebrating Galentine’s or Valentine’s Day, eating is always on the agenda. So, I make sure to always wear something forgiving so I would be comfortable enough up to the last bite. My only tip for dressing for the big day is to be true to your style. You can be festive by doing something as simple as a white shirt and red lip or go all out in a bright red dress, it’s up to you.
