New York Diaries: Flat Iron District

Another day, another district! This time, we visited the Flat Iron District. My Aunt’s office was conveniently near the area so we got to pass by it three times during our visit to New York. The fact that it is one of the world’s most beautiful buildings, I wouldn’t mind passing by it everyday.

After we got off the subway, we passed by Madison Square Garden.

There was also a dog park in the area! There were so many cute doggos!

Parks like these were built since most of the people living in the area are staying in high rise apartments, their dogs need a place to run free.

Tadaaah! It’s so beautiful, right!

My sister and Aunt buying from a local fruit stand.

Eataly had a lot to offer us! This Italian market place has everything Italian — food and beverage counters and even groceries! I wish we could’ve spent more time there!

An artisanal chocolate shop.

They all looked so good!

We got out from the entrance at West 23rd street and saw this beautiful white building and I was quite surprised to know that it was a Home Depot!

Took a turn and we found ourselves on 6th Ave. There were so many shops in the area that I wanted check out but I was particularly interested in checking out the nearby Trader Joe’s but we couldn’t since we were rushing to go home, so maybe next time!

Almost done with my New York posts! Finally!

What’s favorite part of my New York trip so far? Let me know in the comments below!
